GOVERNOR ALEX OTTI ATTENDS BURIAL OF MRS. OZIOMA DORA NWAEZE UMAHI IN EBONYI STATE

Earlier yesterday, November 29th, His Excellency Dr. Alex Otti, OFR, alongside other dignitaries from all walks of life, attended the burial ceremony of Mrs. Ozioma Dora Nwaeze Umahi, who was laid to rest at her husband’s compound after a church service at Umahi Nwaeze’s family pavilion, Uburu, Ohazara LGA, Ebonyi State.

Mrs. Ozioma Dora Nwaeze Umahi, who died on the 3rd of August, at the age of 52 years, was, until her death, the wife of Barr. Royo Umahi Nwaeze, SAN, FCArb, brother to the immediate past Governor of Ebonyi State and Nigeria’s current Minister of Works, Sen. (Engr.) Dave Nwaeze Umahi, CON.

In his condolence message to the Chief Mourner, Barr. Royo Umahi Nwaeze, SAN, Governor Otti, who described her death as a personal loss, said, “Even though we cannot question God, we would have loved her to remain with us here on earth and continue to beam her light of grace and kindness to her generation. Without question, her death is a huge loss to the family and everyone who crossed paths with her.

“She was a supportive wife, affectionate mother, and a virtuous woman who instilled in her children the values of integrity, humility, and diligence, shaping their character through the quiet power of her example. Beyond her family, she distinguished herself as a trusted friend and compassionate leader who dedicated her life to the service of God’s people…”

Gov. Otti stated that words may not be enough to console the family she left behind at this grieving moment and urged them to find solace in the fact that she lived a purposeful life and had gone to be with the lord, which is the way of all mortals.

She encouraged the family to be strong, noting that the Late Mrs. Ozioma Dora Nwaeze had impactfully run her race here on earth and now rests in the Lord, waiting to be reunited with them on the resurrection morning.

The Governor urged everyone who was present at the burial to ensure they live a good life so that when they are gone, they would be celebrated like the Late Mrs Ozioma Dora Umahi Nwaeze.
