On Friday, 18th July, 2025, the Executive Governor of Abia State, His Excellency, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, OFR, joined the BoT Chairman of the Labour Party, Comrade Sylverster Ejiofor, President of Trade Union Congress of Nigeria (TUC), Comrade Festus Osifo, President of Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Comrade Joe Ajaero and other members of the National Executive Council (NEC) of the Labour Party at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja for the National Executive Council meeting of the party for the inauguration of the Interim National Working Committee (NWC), Approval of the Scheduled Ward, Local Government, State, Zonal Congresses and National Convention, Constitution of Statutory Committee for Membership Revalidation and New Members Registration, and to evaluate the status of Labour Party’s participation in the forthcoming Anambra State Governorship election and the scheduled by-elections in various Senatorial Districts and Federal Constituencies Across the Country.
