Earlier today, Abia State Governor, His Excellency, Dr. Alex Otti, OFR, joined dignitaries from all walks of life to celebrate Dr. Tony Eze (Eze of Diamonds), who turned 70 years old today.
Dr. Tony Eze, a Marketing graduate of Winthrop University, South Carolina, United States of America, is the Founder of Specialty Drilling Fluids Limited (SDF) and Charnel Engineering Limited, both of which have grown into respected brands in Nigeria’s energy and construction sectors.
Speaking during the birthday thanksgiving Mass at Mater Misericordiae Catholic Church, Rumuomasi, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Governor Otti thanked God for what He has done for Dr. Tony Eze and for what He has done through him. He equally appreciated the Church for opening its doors to celebrate Dr. Eze.
The number one citizen of Abia State wished Dr. Eze many more fruitful decades ahead, praying that God grants him even up to 100 years in good health and continued prosperity if Christ tarries.
A former Governor of Enugu State, Barr. Sullivan Chime, Sen. Enyinnaya Abaribe, representing Abia South Senatorial District in the Red Chamber of the National Assembly, the Obi of Onisha, HRM. Igwe Nnaemeka Alfred Achebe was among the dignitaries who graced the Birthday celebration.
Governor Otti was accompanied to the event by the Honourable Commissioner for Power and Public Utilities, Engr. Ikechukwu Monday, and the Honourable Commissioner for Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Prof. Joel Ogbonna.
