Earlier today, the Executive Governor of Abia State, His Excellency, Dr. Alex Otti, OFR, attended the burial ceremony of Late Pa Nathaniel O. Egege, father of the Chairman of the Governing Council of the Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu Polytechnic Aba, Engr. Stanley Egege.
Late Pa Egege, who died at the age of 92, was buried in his hometown of Itungwa Ahiafoukwu Autonomous Community in Obingwa LGA.


In his condolence letter to the family, the Governor urged the family and the loved ones of Late Pa Nathaniel Egege left behind not to cry much as he lived a long and fulfilled life, made his mark in the hospitality industry, and has gone to rest in the bosom of the Lord.
Engr. Stanley Egege on behalf of the family thanked Governor Otti for finding time out of his busy schedule to identify with them in their grieving moment.
The Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Kenneth Kalu, the Honourable Commissioner for Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Prof. Joel Ogbonna, and the Mayor of Obingwa, Hon. Maxwell Nwadike were among some Government Functionaries who attended the burial Ceremony.
