Earlier today, 25th October, Governor Alex Otti, OFR, attended the burial ceremony of Late Mazi Udochukwu Uwakaneme as he was laid to rest in his hometown of Ujari/Amasu Arochukwu, Arochukwu LGA.

In his tribute to the family, the Governor described the death of Late Uwakaneme as “a huge loss to the family and everyone who had contact with his unassuming charismatic, and inspiring personality”.
According to Governor Otti, 31 years ago when he wedded, Late Mazi Udochukwu Uwakaneme stood in for his dad who was indisposed to attend. And, thereafter continued to play a fatherly role in his life.
Speaking further, the Governor stated that, the deceased was a Harvard University MBA graduate and a global consultant of repute who worked very hard to reach the peak of his career in the consulting world.
He prayed God to grant his soul eternal rest and comfort the loved ones he left behind as tears cannot bring him back.
