Governor Alex Otti Pays His Last Respect To Late Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu.

Earlier today, 1st November 2024, His Excellency, Dr. Alex Otti, OFR, joined other well-meaning Nigerians from all walks of life to pay his last respect to late Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, CFR, Ahaejiagamba 1 of Igboland, who died on July 25th 2024, at the age of 82 and was buried in his hometown of Ikeduru in Imo State.

Chief Iwuanyanwu was, until the time of his death, the 11th President-General of Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide.

In his tribute to the family, Governor Otti described the death of Chief Iwuanyanwu as “A huge loss to the family, Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide, the entire Igbo race and Nigeria in General, and his death came at a critical time when his leadership role had ascended to that of the whole Igbo race in Nigeria and beyond”.

He prayed God to grant everyone the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss that his death has caused and grant his gentle soul rest.
